Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data we collect through the Orto.Run website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It also explains who is responsible when Orto.Run sends you a message on behalf of a business you deal with.
1. Who we are
Orto.Run is a product of Original Objective Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 08622488, with its registered office at Suite 3, 12 Princess Street, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6DD. In this notice “we” and “us” mean Original Objective Ltd.
For the website and for our own sales and marketing we are the controller of your personal data. You can reach us about privacy at hello@originalobjective.com or on +44 161 883 1930.
2. Using this website
Booking a demo
When you fill in the demo form we collect your name, work email, company, and, if you give them, your phone number and what you would like Orto.Run to do. We use them to reply, arrange the demo and follow it up. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our product, and taking steps at your request before any contract.
Calendly
If you choose “Show available times”, the page loads Calendly’s booking calendar. Calendly collects the details you enter there and sets its own cookies, under its own privacy notice. It only loads when you ask for it.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Our fonts are served from our own domain, so no third party sees your visit through them.
Server logs
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
3. If Orto.Run has messaged you
Businesses such as car dealerships use Orto.Run to keep in touch with their customers by text, WhatsApp, email, phone and web chat. When a business sends you a message through Orto.Run, that business is the controller of your data and we act as its processor: we handle your data only on its instructions and under a written contract.
Every message says which business it comes from. That business’s own privacy notice, linked in its messages, explains how it uses your data. To stop messages, reply STOP or use the choices page linked in the message; an opt-out on any channel stops every channel. Automated calls are only made to people who have agreed to them, and are recorded and stored in the UK.
For a data request about these messages, contact the business that sent them. If you contact us instead, we will pass your request to them and help them answer it.
5. International transfers
Vercel, Calendly and Google may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep demo enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep what our contract and accounting obligations require. Hosting logs are kept for a short period set by Vercel. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
7. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it if it is wrong, or delete it;
- restrict how we use it, or object to our using it, including for direct marketing at any time;
- give it to you, or another organisation, in a portable format.
We will reply within one month. There is no charge.
8. Contact and complaints
Email hello@originalobjective.com, call +44 161 883 1930, or write to Original Objective Ltd, Suite 3, 12 Princess Street, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 6DD.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
We will update this notice when our use of data changes, and change the date at the top. Back to Orto.Run
