Customer retention and acquisition, by conversation

Keep every customer. Win the next one

Orto.Run is a conversation engine. Give it a goal and it holds real, two-way conversations with the people you have and the people who enquire: by SMS, WhatsApp, email, phone and web chat, in your voice and inside the rules.

Every dot is a customer you already have.

They bought from you.
Then what?

For most businesses, silence. For years.

Give it a goal

GoalSell Sam his next car

It keeps in touch with everyone you have, answers everyone who asks, and works each conversation towards the goal.

The automotive pack

From the day they buy

Automotive is the first pack. It gives a dealer the milestones a car owner actually has, the approved words for each, and the tools to look a car up. Every touch is a conversation, not a broadcast: a question gets answered, a yes becomes a booking.

    Voice
    Hartwell Motors calling…
“Sam, your agreement ends in March. Shall we look at your next one?”

Help first. Service and know-your-car messages carry the year; the sales message is the exception. The finance-ending conversation is the one with money in it, so it is the one with the most rules.

Underneath the pack the engine is sector-neutral: an organisation, its contacts, a goal, and the channels they already use. A pack changes the milestones, the wording and the tools. The engine stays the same.

Multimodal

Five channels. One conversation

It doesn't run five campaigns. It holds one conversation and moves it to the channel that fits, towards the same goal.

SMS

Starts where everyone is.

A first text says who it's from, why, and how to stop. A reply opens a conversation, and the assistant answers in approved words.

WhatsApp

Moves to WhatsApp once they've said yes.

Opt-in is recorded with the exact words they saw. From then on the conversation carries on where they actually read: replies, cards for the cars, forms in the chat.

Email

Sends the long things by email.

Service reminders, the MOT, the halfway note. Replies land in the same thread, and an opt-out on any channel stops every channel.

Voice

Calls when they'd rather talk.

It offers a call by text, records a clear yes as consent, and rings inside your hours. It answers your number too, and puts a person through when one is wanted.

Web

Their own page, for everything else.

A link from any message opens their page: live chat, the cars you've picked for them, and their choices. Which channels, which hours, which language. Changes take effect at once.

Voice

It picks up the phone. It makes the call

Not a phone tree. A conversation that can look things up, book things and put a person through, in the words you approved.

  • Calls when they've said yes.The offer goes by text or WhatsApp. A clear yes is recorded as consent, then it rings, inside your hours.
  • Answers your number.Every call opens with who it is and that it's automated. The evidence is written before the sentence is spoken.
  • Acts during the call.It can refresh a valuation, check stock, book a service or a test drive, schedule a follow-up and open an opportunity. Every action goes through the same gates and is logged.
  • Puts a person through.A warm transfer to a named person with a whispered summary. If nobody picks up, a call-back is booked and the caller is told.
  • Recorded, transcribed, replayable.Every call is kept in UK storage with its transcript beside it. The voice is yours to choose: per language, per programme, or cloned from your own with consent.

  • Approved words only.Every regulated sentence comes from wording approved once. Change the words and the regulated ones wait for re-approval; the rest go live on save.
  • Hands over for a reason.Unsure twice, or asked for a person, and the thread says why. Nothing is passed over quietly.
  • When you step in, it steps back. While a person is handling a conversation the assistant drafts but never sends, and other programmes hold their messages.
